Choosing someone to document your baby’s birth is an act of deep trust. Birth is powerful and life-changing, and it deserves to be witnessed with care. When you invite me into your birth space, I arrive with calm presence and respect, holding space for every breath and quiet moment of support as your story unfolds.
What is Birth Photography?
Birth photography preserves the moments that often blur with time—the strength in your body, the love around you, and the instant everything changes. These images become your memory, allowing you to return to your birth and remember how deeply supported you were. I’ve shared a short, one-minute read that explains what birth photography truly involves, so you can decide if it feels right for you.
As Your Birth Photographer
As your birth photographer, I show up when you need me—when labor becomes active or the moment you call your midwife. From that point on, I stay with you through the intensity of labor and into the first 90 minutes after your baby is born, quietly documenting the moments that matter most. My presence is calm and intentional. I don’t photograph constantly or interrupt what’s unfolding. Instead, I move gently through the space, allowing your birth to happen while I preserve it.
I understand the rhythm of birth and how to work around your care team without drawing attention. Most families tell me they barely notice I’m there. I use light thoughtfully and respectfully, and I’m always happy to work without flash if that feels best for you. I offer two carefully curated birth photography packages, each created to honor the strength, connection, and emotion of the day your baby enters the world.

A Story Told Through Stills
This collection is centered on preserving your baby’s birth through meaningful, story-driven still photographs. I accept only a small number of birth photography clients each month so I can remain fully present and on call during your due window. To reserve your place, a retainer of $950 secures your session, with the remaining balance due by week 37. Flexible payment plans are available, and if you’d like loved ones to be part of this experience, I can create a gift registry so friends and family may contribute toward your birth photography.

A complimentary petite (mini) maternity session
This maternity photography session is a meaningful way for us to connect before your birth. We’ll spend about an hour , either in my studio or at an outdoor location of your choice. You’re welcome to select from my curated collection of maternity dresses, bodysuits, and flowing fabrics, or bring your own outfit that feels comfortable and true to you. After your session, you’ll receive five high-resolution, professionally retouched maternity images of your choice, delivered via digital download.
On call from week 37 until your child enters the world
As your birth photographer, I go on call for your birth and remain available 24/7, day or night, ensuring your labor and delivery are documented from the moment you need me.

Each birth image is lovingly hand-edited in both color and black and white, preserving every detail and emotion. Your photographs are delivered on a custom flash drive for safekeeping, along with a curated collection of 50 professional prints—perfect for filling your heirloom box with tangible memories from the day your baby arrived.
A qualified back-up Birth Photographer
Birth is too important to leave to chance. If an unexpected illness or emergency prevents me from being there in person, a trusted and experienced birth photographer will be there in my place. I remain closely involved and personally edit your images so your birth story is preserved with intention, continuity, and heart.

Birth videography preserves the moments your heart will want to return to again and again—the first cry, the quiet encouragement in the room, and the instant your baby is placed into your arms and everything changes. These sounds and movements pass in a blur, but film allows you to relive your birth story with depth, emotion, and honesty for years to come.
Because I accept only a limited number of birth clients, a 50% retainer of $1,200 secures your due window and ensures I am fully on call for your birth. The remaining balance is due by week 37, with flexible payment plans available for families who prefer to spread out their investment. If friends or family have asked how they can support you—such as during a baby shower—I’m also happy to create a gift registry so loved ones can contribute toward preserving this once-in-a-lifetime experience through birth film.
