All births, whether that be a home birth, water birth, a hospital birth or a cesarean birth, are beautiful and deserve to be documented. This amazing woman gave birth at St John’s hospital in Santa Monica. It was a planned cesarean on her actual due date. She loved the idea of making it a celebration of a long time coming little daughter to add to her family. While it didn’t quite go as planned, it was still an amazing entrance this little lady made. I know I say it every time, but it really was an honor to witness and photograph.
